CRIME ALERT- Update to Motor Vehicle Theft June 22, 2023

CrimeALERT: Update to the Motor Vehicle Theft Crime Alert. On June 22, 2023, the Cornell University Police Department issued a Crime Alert regarding a motor vehicle theft that occurred at 777 Stewart Avenue, City of Ithaca, on June 19, 2023. The City of Ithaca Police Department notified the Cornell University Police Department on June 23, 2023, that the individuals responsible for taking the vehicle came forward and are known to the owner. The vehicle was reportedly moved from the parking lot as a prank and has been returned to the owner.
