The Cornell University Access Control Program, part of the Cornell Police Department, oversees card-based access, key access management, and network video surveillance security systems. The Access Control team is responsible for administration of these centralized systems and the key management program; consultation and project management assistance in installations, renovations and new construction on campus; and ongoing training and maintenance of these access control systems. The Access Control Program team provides 24/7 assistance, diagnosing problems and providing user support and training for OnGuard, the card access software, Perspective VMS, the video management system, and KMS–the University’s key management system.
