Tell us how we are doing….

It is important for every member of our department to hear from our campus partners. Receiving kudos, suggestions and hearing the concerns of our campus community keeps our department connected and responsive to the community. To provide feedback, please email cupd_feedback@cornell.edu.

If you wish to file a formal complaint against an employee of the Cornell Police download How to File a Citizens Complaint (doc).

To Report a Crime:

All students, employees and other members of the campus community, whether the victim or a witness, are encouraged to promptly report crime. If a crime occurs on or around campus, report it immediately to the Cornell Police.

For emergencies, call 911

For non-emergencies, call (607) 255-1111

In addition, members of the campus community should report criminal offenses to the Cornell Police for the purposes of disclosure in the Annual Security Report and for possible issuance of a timely warning. If you are the victim of a crime on campus, report it to Cornell Police as soon as possible.

To anonymously report non-emergency criminal or suspicious activity at Cornell University that you are aware of, please go to Cornell Police Silent Witness Program:
