Cornell University’s 745-acre campus is home to hundreds of buildings, several parks, and miles of busy roads, footpaths and pedestrian corridors, all requiring specialized attention. Additionally, academic departments and student organizations are constantly adding to the diversity of the university’s unique educational experience by hosting visiting dignitaries of varying stature. These factors, among others, make the educational environment at Cornell vibrant and dynamic.
The Cornell Police are deployed in several departmental units in order to best meet the needs of our community, and to provide client-centered service that is effective, efficient and accountable. These units are:
