CrimeALERT: Burglary - City of Ithaca The City of Ithaca Police Department is investigating a burglary at a business in the 100 block of Maple Ave., City of Ithaca. The incident occurred between 3:00 p.m. on July 27, 2023, and 6:46 a.m. on July 28, 2023. The complainant reported finding an open window and a broken window at the establishment. Unknown suspect(s) entered the business and stole a cash box and an undisclosed amount of cash. There is no description of the suspect(s) available. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing unattended doors and windows and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
