CrimeALERT: Menacing – 400 Block College Ave. – December 8, 2021 The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a menacing complaint that occurred in the 400 block of College Avenue at approximately 4:45 a.m. on December 8, 2021. The victim reports being chased by a male subject, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, carrying a knife, and yelling, " I am going to kill you." No further description is available at this time. The police investigation is continuing. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to contact the Ithaca Police Department at (607) 272-9973. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect themselves by walking in groups or using the RAVE Guardian Virtual Escort and by immediately reporting any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
