CRIME ALERT- Public Notification

CrimeALERT: Stolen Motor Vehicle – 218 Solidago Rd. – November 15, 2021 On November 15th, 2021 at approximately 07:00 a.m. the Cornell University Police Department responded to a complaint of a motor vehicle theft at the Cornell Shops parking lot at 218 Solidago Road , Ithaca, NY. The complainant reports that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot sometime between 3:00 p.m. on November 12th and 7:00 a.m. on November 15th. The complainant further stated that they did not give anyone permission to use the vehicle and the vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2010 Ford E350 white van with New York State plate number GPK 5823. At this time, there is no description of any suspect or suspects. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing vehicle doors and windows, do not leave keys in unoccupied motor vehicles, and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
