Crime ALERT: Burglary – City of Ithaca On May 24, 2023, at 3:06 p.m., the Cornell University Police Department responded to Myron Taylor Hall for a report of a burglary. The victim reported that an unknown suspect(s) entered their unlocked office on May 24, 2023, between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and stole a credit card, debit card, and driver license. The victim was not in their office when the burglary occurred. There is no description of the suspect(s) available at this time. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to contact the Cornell University Public Safety Communications Center at (607) 255-1111. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing unattended doors and windows and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
