CRIME ALERT- Burglary – 100 Block Thurston Avenue

Crime ALERT: Burglary - 100 Block Thurston Avenue On September 15, 2022 at approx. 1:00 p.m., the Ithaca Police Department responded to the 100 block of Thurston Avenue for a burglary complaint that occurred at around 2:45 a.m. on September 15, 2022. It was reported that two unknown male subjects entered the residence and were confronted by an occupant. The suspects then fled the residence in an unknown direction of travel. The male suspects were described as being approximately 18-20 years of age. One male possibly going by the name "Rudy" is described as being approximately 5'8" 200 lbs with short curly brown hair wearing a dark blue shirt with an unknown yellow design and blue pants . The second male is described as being approximately 6'1" with a thin build, short blond hair and wearing black pants and a white shirt with black design. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing unattended doors and windows and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
