CRIME ALERT- Public Notification 09/15/23 UPDATE – Rape – Cascadilla Hall

CrimeALERT: 09/15/23 UPDATE - Rape - Cascadilla Hall On Thursday, September 14, 2023, a victim reported to a university official that she was forcibly raped by an unknown person in Cascadilla Hall. The exact date and time of the incident are not known. The victim described the suspect as a male, 6 feet tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds. The victim was able to escape after kicking the suspect. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Cornell University Police at (607) 255-1111. Cornell Police firmly believes that crime is never the fault of the victim. The Cornell Police reminds the community to utilize the RAVE Guardian app when on or near campus.
