Mental Floss – A healthy mindset helps you stay safe and keep on top of your game. Exercise your brain, get outside or take a walk and enjoy some
fresh air. If you need additional assistance, check out the Caring Community website for helpful resources.
Unemployment Fraud – Fraudsters are using stolen personal information to file false unemployment claims on behalf of people who have not been laid off. This elaborate scheme affects thousands of people nationwide, including some within our community. Cornell Human Resources is proactively working with the state Department of Labor to identify and contact potential victims. If you believe that you may be a victim of unemployment fraud, report it to the NY unemployment insurance fraud website, review your annual credit report and consider enrolling in credit monitoring to protect against future identity theft. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Got Bikes? – More bicycles come to Cornell than leave. Abandoned bikes impede grounds efforts, snow removal and available space for bikes in use. If your bike is sitting unused, I implore you to take it, donate it or sell it for extra cash.
