Crime Alert Update: The vehicle related to the Crime Alert issued on January 31, 2021 has been recovered in the City of Ithaca.
On January 31, 2021, at approximately 3:00 p.m. the Cornell University Police Department responded to a complaint of a motor vehicle theft at the Humphreys Service Building, 639 Dryden Road, Ithaca, NY.
The complainant reports that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of Humphreys Service Building. The complainant also stated that they did not give anyone permission to use the vehicle and the vehicle was left unattended on Jan. 31 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. with the keys inside the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2000 tan Buick sedan with Pennsylvania plate number KZS9214. The Vehicle has been recovered. At this time, there is no description of the suspect or suspects.
