CRIME ALERT- Public Notification

CrimeALERT: Burglaries – William Keeton House and Hans Bethe House – June 20 through July 3, 2019 Cornell University Police are investigating a series of burglaries from West Campus residence halls that have occurred over the past two weeks. Complainants from William Keeton House reported the theft of cash from residence hall room drawers during the previous two weeks. Complainants from Hans Bethe house reported to Cornell Police on July 3rd theft of cash on June 29th from residence hall room drawers between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Victims were not in the rooms at the time of the thefts. At this time no description of the suspect/suspects is immediately available. The police investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information related to these crimes is asked to contact the Cornell University Police Department at (607) 255-1111. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing unattended doors and windows, and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911.
