Crime Alert - Burglary - 107 Williams Street - September 19, 2020 The City of Ithaca Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at 107 Williams Street at 2:30 a.m. on September 19, 2020. The complainant reported that an unknown person placed a chair against the building and cut a window screen to allow them access to an unlocked window. The unknown person then opened the window and stole a wallet before fleeing the area. No further description of the suspect is available. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing unattended doors and windows and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
