CrimeALERT: Burglary - 400 block of Elmwood Ave. - October 27, 2020 The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 400 block of Elmwood Ave., City of Ithaca, on October 27, 2020, sometime between 10:50 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person or persons entered through an open door and stole various items including a laptop computer, credit card, and cash. The residents were not home at the time of the burglary. No description of the suspect(s) is available. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing unattended doors and windows and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they see by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app
