CRIME ALERT – ARMED ROBBERY – 426 Eddy Street - July 27, 2020 At approximately 10:10 p.m. on 7/27/2020, the Ithaca Police Department responded to the Universal Deli at 426 Eddy Street for a reported Armed Robbery. Ithaca Police report they are seeking a suspect described to them as an unknown black male approximately 5” 7” with an average build, dark skin, wearing all black clothing and a black mask. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, then fled the store in a westerly direction down Williams Street. At this time the suspect is not apprehended.
