Penalties Under the Code of Conduct:

These are the sanctions meted out to those who violate the Campus Code of Conduct:

Students:

1. Oral warning
2. Written reprimand
3. Community service of not more than 80 hours or in-kind monetary fine
4. Other educational tools - counseling or reflection papers
5. Restitution and cease and desist orders (including orders of protection)
6. Probation for a stated period
7. Suspension from the university
8. Dismissal from the university.

Faculty Members and Other Employees:

1. Oral warning
2. Written reprimand
3. Other educational tools - counseling or reflection papers
4. Community service of not more than 80 hours or in-kind monetary fine
5. Suspension from university duties for a stated period not to exceed one month, with loss of salary but not with loss of other rights and privileges
6. Dismissal from the employ of the university and termination of any contract or tenure.
7. Restitution
8. Cease and desist orders (including orders of protection)
