Forcible Touching on Stewart Ave. Sunday June 26, 2011

The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a reported forcible touching incident that occurred on Sunday June 26, 2011, at about 10:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Stewart Ave.

 

The victim reported walking in a southerly direction on the sidewalk when a male subject walked by her then turned around and forcibly touched her buttocks. The victim confronted the perpetrator before he got into a parked black 4 door sedan and drove away northbound on Stewart Ave.  The victim describes the perpetrator as a stocky white male, about 5¿09¿ tall, 25-30 years of age, wearing a dark blue zip up jacket, dark jeans and baseball cap.

The police investigation is continuing. Anyone with information should contact the Ithaca Police Department at (607) 272-9973.
