Cornell University Police are investigating an assault that was reported on March 27, 2011. The female victim stated that at about midnight on March 12, 2011 she was approached by an unidentified white male on Libe Slope who asked her for money. The victim reported that the male struck her in the face with a closed fist, causing injury to her face. The details of the incident and suspect description are still being investigated.
