Crime Alert - Assault March 12, 2011
Cornell University Police are investigating an assault that was reported on March 27, 2011. The female victim stated that at about midnight on March 12, 2011 she was approached by an unidentified white male on Libe Slope who asked her for money. The victim reported that the male struck her in the face with a closed fist, causing injury to her face. The details of the incident and suspect description are still being investigated. Call 911 in emergencies on and off campus. Report any suspicious activity on campus to the Cornell University Police by calling 255-1111. All suspicious activity off campus should be reported to the Ithaca City Police Department at 272-3245.
