Crime Alert Update

This is an update to the Forcible Touching Crime Alert dated 09-07-09:


Ithaca police are looking for two men suspected of forcibly touching a college-age female on 09-05-09.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of College Avenue at about midnight on Sept. 5, Ithaca police officials said. The female was walking down the street when two men grabbed her, pulled her into a parking lot, grabbed at her clothing and tried to restrain her, they added.

The female broke free, however, fled and flagged down an officer, according to the police department.

The first suspect is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, white, thin, with short brown hair, scruffy facial hair and a large gap in his front teeth. The second suspect is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with brown hair, brown eyes, a heavy build and dirty appearance.

The officials said their investigation is intensive, and asked anyone with information about the incident to contact the Ithaca Police Department at 272-3245.
