Forcible Touching in Collegetown Saturday June 23, 2012
The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a reported Forcible Touching that occurred at about 3:55 a.m. on Saturday June 23, 2012.
A female victim reports that at approximately 3:55 a.m. she was walking home in Collegetown and was approached by a college age male who appeared to be intoxicated. The male subject reached up her skirt and grabbed her leg and made a suggestive comment. The victim pushed the subject away and fled to a nearby house.
The victim reports that the perpetrator is a white male, approximately 25 years old, 5¿-9¿ tall, thin build, with brown facial hair. A search of the area by police has not located the suspect. The police investigation is continuing. Anyone with information should contact the Ithaca Police Department at (607) 272-9973. The Cornell University Police Department reminds the community to carry your cell phone in your hand, walk with others and be aware of your surroundings.

Call 911 in emergencies on and off campus. Report any suspicious activity on campus to the Cornell University Police by calling 255-1111. All suspicious activity off campus should be reported to the Ithaca City Police Department at 272-3245.
