The Cornell University Police Department is investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred on North Campus at about 11:28 p.m. on Monday May 7, 2012.
The robbery was reported near Balch Hall. The victim reports that two tall males wearing masks, thick dark jackets (possibly black jackets in color,) displayed what the victim describes as a small, black hand gun demanding property. The suspects left the scene on foot toward Central Campus.
A search of the area has not located the suspects. The victim was apparently uninjured, according to preliminary reports. The police investigation is continuing. Anyone with information should contact the Cornell University Police Department at (607) 255-1111.
